Every once in awhile I get a real hankering a smoothies or smoothie bowl. Like, that will be all I eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And when I'm out, I can't help but visit my local juice shop and grab a delicious Acai bowl.
And then I get one the next day, and the next, and the... But let me tell you, this habit of mine is so dang expensive. $10 for a bowl of fruit? Chile... Honestly, my favorite smoothie bowls are the ones I make at home and they are so much cheaper. I fine tuned my copy-cat recipe and I can't get enough of it! You'll only need 3 key ingredients, a blender and badda-bing badda-boom!
You'll Need...
1-2 individual packages of frozen Acai puree1 frozen banana
Frozen berry mix
Toppings: coconut flakes, honey, granola, fruit, chia seeds, chia pudding
1. Start by softening your acai puree under running water until you can break it in half.
2. In a blender, mix the acai puree, banana, berry mix and blend. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3. Add the smoothie to a bowl and top with a layer of granola, chia, chia pudding, honey, sliced bananas, berries, and coconut flakes.

Seriously this recipe is so easy it really didn't need it's own blog post but hey, a girl's gotta make content.
