Happy Thursday!!

I hope you all enjoyed my Motivational Monday post for June.

In your twenties you don't really know what you want to do with your life. You think you know but you aren't quite sure, so you try, and sometimes fail, at different things until you find your thing. I was previously in that stage where I wasn't quite sure what my thing was. I know what I liked, but I didn't know what to do or how to start. Well ladies and gents, I finally figured it out. 

Stationery.

Yes, stationery. Calendars, cards, notebooks and the such. Those are my things. It's what I love. (Besides this blog. I love this too!) I love to design, I love to paint and I love stationery. Homemade cards are the best. I look at inspiring women, like Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co and Gia Graham of Betsywhite Stationery, who have followed their dream starting with a paintbrush and an idea and I become so motivated to do the same. So my focus for the year is to follow my dream.

I don't know where I will end up in the future, if this turns out to be a side project or a major factor in my life. I feel that since this is my personal blog I should document my process of starting a business from the ground up. Hope you are as excited as I am. I'll update you guys every month with my process. So far I've researched into letter pressing and stationery must haves but that's as far as I have gotten. This will be a series, so it'll have a name and will be easier to access once I start my blog redesign. Life is just so exciting at times.
