Favorite Natural Hair Products Under $12

For all of the people saying women go natural because they are too broke for relaxers and weaves, YOU ARE TRIPPIN. Spending $60-80 every 6-8 weeks on relaxers is NOTHING in comparison to the amount I've spent on natural hair products.
When I first went natural, it wasn't really a big thing. Many brands focused on women with relaxed hair so women had to DIY their own products. Today, just about every brand has their own line of curly girl friendly products and their price tag isn't cheap. This post is to help those starting out, or those who really can't afford to spend $15 on a small ounce bottle of conditioner you'll use every couple of washes. If you have any affordable favorites, let me know!

DIY Flax Seed Gel | $3.99

DIY Shea Butter pomade | $3.99

Aussie Moist Conditioner and Shampoo | $4.99 each

Aura Cacia Essential Oils | $4-$12

Shea Moisture Superfruit Complex 10-in-1 Renewal System Shampoo | $10.99

OGX Acai Berry Avocado Conditioner | $5.79

There are many DIY videos and blog posts on homemade flax seed gel and shea butter pomades. If you'd like to see how I make mine, let me know in the comments or on Twitter.
