Southern Spiked Strawberry Lemonade

Spiked strawberry lemonade

I love a tall glass of cold lemonade on a hot summer day. While it might be 40 degrees in the middle of January, I'll never pass on a refreshing glass.

This isn't your Mama's lemonade. This lemonade is filled with vodka, lemon-lime soda, and a few strawberries.

What you'll need:
  • Ice
  • Vodka
  • Frozen Strawberries
  • Lemon Juice or Fresh Lemon
  • Superfine Sugar
  • Lemon-Lime Soda
What to do:

Start by defrosting 1/4 cup of frozen strawberries. If you defrost in the microwave, make sure they aren't piping hot. Once defrosted, add them to the container. To capture the flavor, take a wooden spoon and break the strawberries apart.

Next, pour in 4.5 ounces of vodka, 1 cup of lemon juice, 3 cups of crushed ice, 4 cups of lemon-lime soda, and 1/4 cups of sugar. Stir until blended. Pour into a glass and garnish with a strawberry. Add more ice, sugar or vodka if needed.

Do you love the Zara blanket scarf but hate the price? Here's an affordable DIY.
